Well, it’s that time again on YouTube where bloggers venture into their first foray in vlogging, where you talk about yourself in front of a video camera and post it on YouTube. What usually happens is bonds are established. You make new friends in far away places that you save money to go see. Or you make friends with people super close to you that you probably wouldn’t have hung out with otherwise. You meet them at all the cool events like Bloggers in Sin City, the 20SB Summit, or VidCon.

We always begin by introducing ourselves, and if you’re not up for pressing the play button, I basically tell you that my name is Treavioli and I don’t like alcohol but I do like boys, not girls. So… hi.

This is my 3rd year of doing VEDA, or Vlog Everyday in August, and every year I meet new and cool people, who eventually become some of my best friends. One such accomplishment is my relationship with blog wife, Linda at curious-notions.net. Since meeting her during the first VEDA in 2010, we’ve become really close friends. She’s not the only one, and if you’re doing VEDA this year, you’ll probably make tons of friends.
