Gifted and Talented

In junior high, the countrytown small school I went to had a “Gifted and Talented” class, where they pick a select group of students and give them more homework to make them feel special. Needless I demanded wanted that extra bit of homework, and I felt I deserved the distinguished title of “Gifted and Talented.” My school never agreed with me, and I went through times where I felt like I wasn’t gifted nor talented. But then I graduated high school as “Most Talented” and “Most Likely to Succeed.”

Eff junior high.
