I had many firsts this year. One of them was participating in Do Something Crazy Every Month (DSCEM), which I conjured up because I was probably bored. No, I figured it would help me get to Chicken List. In response to 2010 (the Year for Fears) being relatively unsuccessful in tackling my fears or my Chicken List, DSCEM was kickass. In fact, it inspired me to just be crazy, live my life, and just not worry about the “correct comma usages” of life! Many months I did more than one crazy thing but most of them I can’t post here.

01 On a slight whim, I spent $500 on a good time (Bloggers in Sin City)
02 Went on a road trip to the Midwest by myself with minimal planning
03 Signed up for X-Factor — wait, what?
04 Bought an iPad I didn’t really need. $$$ (I use it all the time)
05 Auditioned for X-Factor — yes, what!
06 Went streaking — to the mailbox. at night.
07 Learned how to pee in a bottle in a moving car
08 Had the best date ever and it was a day long
09 Basically lived an episode of Hoarders (the crazy packrat was out of town)
10 Made a responsible adult decision (it sucked big time)
11 Declared independence as a contract designer
12 Living in the Emerald City, trying to make it in the Big Green Apple
